I use Pidgin and Digsby. I voted Digsby because Pidgin blows but it's the only halfway decent attempt gui wise for linux. At least until Digsby releases a linux version.

For what it's worth Digsby has had their servers down twice in the span of a week. The second one lasted half a day. Because they use that retarded ass proxy model, you have to login to THEIR server to get to all your IM networks.
This is a huge weakness in the overall model. They claim they're working on a local login method to prevent this from happening in the future. They're fucking idiots for even taking this long to have a fail-over method.
Remember that time Nokio said he doesn't have his IRCd in crontab because his host is so good they never go down? Oh wait, and then it went down? Yeah, Digsby's d-bag programmers had the same idea.
